"Xylos, Emma Hill, The Lindbergh Line + Clara Engel"

Montreal dirty-pop band, The Lindbergh Line. Remember all the sneers and strutting of Pat Benatar, Tina Turner, and Cherie Currie. Remember when rock was cool? Well, that’s the kind of rock ethos you’ll get with The Lindbergh Line. - Jukebox Heroines

"On The Record"

More arty youth from Quebec in this drums/bass/guitar trio making electric rock that bounces between thrashy, fuzzy noise and subdued, pensive melodies.
- Philadelphia Weekly

"Monday Madness: The Lindbergh Line, The North Lakes, Matt Longo"

''... an excellent mix of raw urgency and clean guitar licks. This EP is like a little teaser, leaving you wanting more. '' - The Broken Speaker

"Dame City"

'' There’s a brooding intensity to the track that very much reminds me of Deborah Harry and her boys in their heyday.''
'' (The Lindbergh Line) make dirty pop, which is the best kind of pop in my books. There’s attitude without conceit on their EP, Bang Bang You’ll Be Missed, a succinct 4 song introduction to this powerful little three-piece.''
- Quick Before it Melts

"New music - The Lindbergh Line, 'Juggernaut'"

''gritty and raw and rock ‘n’ roll'' - Guttersnipe

"Recent Loves (Canadian Edition)"

''Holy shit, it's like the good parts of the 90s all over again''
''If you're going to have a soundtrack for pained and confused teen years, this is the record to get. You know how you don't know where things are going when you're seventeen? It's that kind of uncertainty and anticipation that's all over this EP.'' - Sound Design and Assembly

"The Lindbergh Line - Bang Bang You'll Be Missed"

This 3-piece remind me of the 1980's... but in a good way. They make catchy rock music that harkens back to the days of Pat Benetar and Scandal. Dirty vocals are mixed perfectly with clean riffs and great drumming to make this EP one of the best things I've heard in awhile. - Scotch Tapes

"Hell's Rumblings"

“…there’s always something interesting going, whether it be the songwriting...the tightness of their sound, the tribal pounding of Denise Williams on her drums while she’s hidden in the back, the unfairly good looks and terrific rock stance of bassist Karl Leblanc or the surprising power and stamina of could-have-been electro-pop queen Myriam Chebat’s vocal-and-guitar attack, with each song building in intensity from her presence alone.”

–Hell’s Rumblings, August 4, 2010 - Sebastien Hell

Bio

The Lindbergh Line is Myriam Chebat (Les Handclaps), Karl LeBlanc (Anomie) and Denise Williams (Dance Movie), who crossed divides of language and culture to make driving scuzz-pop you can dance to. In their short time together, they’ve toured the eastern coast of Canada, produced two demos, scored a film for the M60 film festival, and racked up hometown dates all over Montreal.

Packed full of contradictions and transitions—clean pop to growling guitar, rolling drums, moody vocals and high bass distortion—The Lindbergh Line is equal parts Sonic Youth and Debbie Harry, loud but with style. You will write their name on the high school binder in your mind, like, a hundred times.

The trio’s debut EP 'Bang Bang You'll Be Missed' was released in January 2011, details at www.thelindberghline.com
