The Lindbergh Line is Myriam Chebat (Les Handclaps), Karl LeBlanc (Anomie) and Denise Williams (Dance Movie), who crossed divides of language and culture to make driving scuzz-pop you can dance to. In their short time together, they’ve toured the eastern coast of Canada, produced two demos, scored a film for the M60 film festival, and racked up hometown dates all over Montreal.
Packed full of contradictions and transitions—clean pop to growling guitar, rolling drums, moody vocals and high bass distortion—The Lindbergh Line is equal parts Sonic Youth and Debbie Harry, loud but with style. You will write their name on the high school binder in your mind, like, a hundred times.
