Bio
The Liquid Now explore life's dualities, from their lyrics to their sound. They sound like no other band while sounding like many. They create gentle, beautiful melodies that abruptly change into swells of noise and distortion. But, each song is meticulously crafted, and has its own unique mood and atmosphere. The lyrics are thoughtful, and themes of loneliness, hope, weakness, and desire are ever present. Not content with one style, the band stretches it's sound, which stays fresh and modern and relevant. Their name is inspired from the Zen Buddhist concept of living in the ever flowing moment.
Their influences include The Beatles, Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Strokes, Supercar, Japanese pop, British indie music, and American alternative music.
