Rock music for Kids & Adults. We want to be your kid's first favorite band and your new favorite band! Our tunes are catchy pop/rock with little musical references parents will pick up on and our rock shows are interactive and fun for everyone. Are you Ready for Rockin?

Biography

We play Indie Rock for kids – that’s Kindie Rock!

Our band is made up of a diverse group of music lovers. Jessie is our Broadway Baby, with her music theater background and vocal training. Chris & Liam are long-time friends, Beatles freaks and road traveled rockers. Billy is our music guru and laid back dude. It all goes in the pot and creates a musical style that is energetic, fun and totally rockin’.

With a little help from our friends, we travel around playing awesome rock shows and teaching music to kids and the people that love them.

The Little Rockers Band performs rock concerts, parties, school assemblies and community events. Our concerts for kids are entertaining and educational. We love having fun, but the teacher in us inspires us to add little segues about the parts of the guitar, musical counting or the different instruments in the band. That’s why our children’s shows are a tasty mix of rock show and TV show. We dare you to not have fun…

The Little Rockers Band offer music classes for families in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The music is an eclectic mix of styles from the 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's. Songs are written with a cool kid's perspective and are produced in a contemporary style thats just right for anyone.

Lyrics

Hi, Hi, Hi (Don't be shy)

Written By: Chris & Jessie Apple

We just moved into a brand new town
I looked outside and saw a lot of kids around
Well, I wanted to have some fun
But I didn’t know anyone
Then I remembered what my daddy told me
(What'd he say, What'd he say?)

You gotta say HI, HI, HI when you see them
You can’t be shy, shy, shy, you gotta greet them
It does no good to be shy, when you see you’re friends say hi
And smile, smile, smile and greet them

I just went to school for the very first time
I was scared, I didn’t want to go inside
Well, I wanted to run and play, but I didn’t know what to say
Then I remembered what my mommy told me...

You gotta say HI, HI, HI when you see them
You can’t be shy, shy, shy you gotta greet them
It does no good to be shy when you see you’re friends say hi
And smile, smile, smile and greet them.

Don’t turn your face
Don’t hide your eyes
Don’t be so shy
Just say hi hi hi
Just say hi!

You gotta say HI, HI, HI when you see them
You can’t be shy, shy, shy you gotta greet them
It does no good to be shy when you see your friends say hi
And smile, smile, smile and greet them

I Wanna Go Somewhere

Written By: Chris & Jessie Apple

I wanna walk somewhere down the street
I wanna walk somewhere down the street
I wanna use my legs to move my feet
I wanna stomp my shoes to make a beat
I wanna walk somewhere down the street
Walk, Walk,Walk
I wanna walk somewhere down the street

I wanna go somewhere in a car
I wanna go somewhere in a car
I wanna zoom, zoom zoom going so fast
I wanna honk to the people movin' past
I wanna go somewhere in a car
Drive,Drive, Drive
I wanna go somewhere in a car

I wanna go somewhere on a plane
I wanna go somewhere on a plane
I wanna fly through the air way up high
I wanna wave to the birds up in the sky
I wanna go somewhere on a plane
Fly, Fly,Fly
I wanna go somewhere on a plane

I wanna go somewhere on a rocket-ship
I wanna go somewhere on a rocket-ship
I wanna count down, blast off very soon
I wanna eat my breakfast on the moon
I wanna go somewhere on a rocket-ship

Phil the Fish

Written By: Nancy Hartline, Chris & Jessie Apple

Phil The Fish
Words and Music By Nancy Hartline, Chris & Jessie Apple

Fuh fuh fuh Phil the fish
Fuh fuh Phil had one wish
Fuh fuh Phil's big wish was
Not to end up on somebody’s dish

"Smart fish!"

Swim Phil, swim
swim for your life and your limbs
swim phil, swim phil, swim phil, swim
for your life and your limbs

"Hey- fish don't have limbs"
"Well, what do they have?"
"Um, they have fins"

He swam all night and he swam all day
And if he cam to a hook he swam far away
When you're swimming that long you work up quite a sweat...

"Wait a second- fish don't sweat"
Well, the last time i saw him he looked pretty wet...

Swim Phil, swim
Swim for your flippers and fins
Swim phil, swim phil, swim phil, swim
For your flippers and your fins

So he stopped at the first local watering hole
just to drown out his thirst and to cool off his soles

"what!"
"You know, the soles of his shoes"
"Fish don't wear shoes."

Well, i don't know what fish you've been talking to
But if you asked Phil then he'll tell you they do

Swim Phil, swim!

Phil went inside and he found him a seat
Felt a tap on his shoulders, felt a tap on his feet
Felt a tap on his elbow he turned and he looked
Into the eyes of a big octopus

The octopus took him said "Phil come with me,
I've got something I think you should see"
When Phil saw the posting his heart filled with glee
'Cause the sign said "NO F-I-S-H-I-N-G"

"Yea, no fishing!"

Swim, Phil swim!

Stinky Pete, the Pirate

Written By: Nancy Hartline, Chris & Jessie Apple

There was a man who sailed a ship, a pirate ship at sea.
His given name was Peter Pew, folks called him Stinky Pete.
The reason for his smelly name? He never washed his feet.
He never washed his face and hands. He never brushed his teeth.

When someone would come up to him, they’d quickly pinch their nose.
And all the ladies they would faint when Pete would say hellos.

P.U. Peter Pew, everybody thinks
Pardon me for sayin so, but you sir really stink!

One day when Pete was up on deck relaxing in his chair.
He passed another ship and spied a maiden oh so fair.
With eyes as blue as robin's eggs and silky golden hair
He made his mind to take her as his wife right then and there.

Now everyone knew with that stink he'd never win her hand
And even Pete had realized he'd have to have a plan.

P.U. Peter Pew, everybody thinks
Pardon me for sayin so, but you sir really stink!

For seven nights and seven days they wore their thinking caps
And then his toothless first mate said "Pete, why not take a bath?"

So Stinky Pete took off his clothes and scrubbed himself real clean
He washed his hair and combed his beard and even brushed his teeth

P.U. Peter Pew, now nobody thinks
Pardon me for sayin so, but you no longer stink!

So as the story goes our Stinky Pete had won her heart.
But not before first cleaning up his smelly body parts.
So let this be a lesson to all you lazy little squirts...
Ya may not get just what you want if you smell of dust and dirts

All By Myself

Written By: Chris & Jessie Apple

Im gonna do it
All by myself
I don't need anybody's help

I can tie my shoes myself
I can button my shirt myself
I can zip my coat myself
by myself

Chorus

I can wash my hands myself
I can comb my hair myself
I can brush my teeth myself
by myself
Yea!

I can clean my room myself
I can make my bed myself
I can go downstairs myself
I can shut the door myself

C'mon!
If you can do it by yourself say yeah
Yeah!
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

She's My Grandma

Written By: Jessie & Chris Apple & Nancy Hartline

SHE’S MY GRAMMA

Some kids call her Nanny-Mommy, Some kids call her Nan
And my Mommy calls her Mother, but we always call her Gran
Mimi might be what she goes- many different names
She’s my Gramma- Happiness her claim to fame

Gramma Gramma Gra-----ma

She’s the one who make it better, when I fall and skin my knee
She’s the one who give me hugs, when Mommy’s mad at me
Gigi might be what she goes by- many different names
She’s my Gramma- Happiness her claim to fame

Gramma Gramma Gra----ma

In Italy she’s Nonna
Nai Nai in Chinese
In Germany she’s Oma
YaYa in the land of Greece

I know some who call her Gooka
And some who say MomMom
My cousins like to call her Grammy
And my Dad just calls her Ma
Nana might be what she goes by- Many different names
She’s my Gramma- Happiness her claim to fame
