The Living Stone Project

By the grace of God a vision was born inside the mind of a young passionate minister. Formerly involved in the secular world of rap music, a vision that involved writing life inspiring gospel songs had to be born of God. Leaving behind everything dear to him, physically and mentally, he devoted his whole life to serving God with the gift that he had received. Assured by God the singers would be sent to manifest the lyrical ideals into angelic harmony, that young man, by faith, approached the venture as though it were already in existence. Thereafter came a former R&B singer, from St. Louis, Missouri, Sean Fowler; A refined and delivered former drug dealer and addict, from Brooklyn, New York, Keith Johnakin and a street wise ex-hustler, from Johnstown, PA, James Nash. By divine intervention, their paths crossed. These three men so graciously extended a hand of fellowship to Terrell Monger and together every heart agreed to accept Gods calling to be The Living Stone Project.

The name of the ministry was giving by inspiration of God based on 1 Peter 2:3-4, which states, “ As you come to him the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him—you also as living stones; are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” These men have decided in their hearts to make themselves available to God to be built up in the purpose in which He has called. The Living Stone Project is continuing to grow in knowledge and in faith as they go out and sing praises to God. They have been able to minister at many Worship Services, Youth Events and at various Gospel Musicals.
The Living Stone Project’s vision is to go forth ministering as they are ministered to, to teach as they are being taught and to reveal God’s word to all who are willing to listen just as God revealed himself to them at their points of need. The ministry started in Atlanta, Ga. and is now on a guided path across the country, and soon the world will be blessed with the Glory that God is displaying through the lives of these willing vessels.
