The annual ROCK the Tridge rocked the area with fun and music Thursday evening.
The Battle of the Bands was in full swing further down. There were six bands competing.
First place was won by Livingstones of Midland, second went to The Alive Band of Trenton, and the third was won by Becoming Yesterday of Battle Creek. - Midland Daily News

All of the band members started on a worship team shortly after getting saved. The band started from the worship team at River of Life Church, were Joe Last Name started as a Worship leader and Jason Roth and Sean Chubb on various instruments. Being on the worship team for the last 10 years has had an influence on the songs that we play and the Spirit that we play them in. Not long after we started on the worship team Joe started Livingstones in 1998 with Sean on drums and Jason on bass. A few years later Joel Raub who plays drums for New Life Vineyard Church in Midland began playing drums Sean moved to bass and Jason lead guitar. In the last year we have had a few new additions to the group that has come from the New Life Vineyard worship team. Gary Meyer started a year ago as a singer and Jeff Last Name took over bass for Sean who moved on to minister in other areas.
As a band we have ministered in colleges, high schools, churches, worship conferences, and opened up for bands such as Todd Agnew, Rush of Fools, Supertones, By The Tree, and Paul Coleman to name a few. In the last 5 years we have made two CD’s. We are excited about what God is doing and were He is taking us. We strongly believe in making God’s Word the center of our lives and the places that we play out. We believe that the music is a vehicle for God’s Word and to spread the good news of God’s love. Our focus is to minister to the lost and lift up the Body of Christ. Our vision is to work though the local church to do outreach events and encourage believers to continue in preaching the kingdom to the lost
