The Looks were one of the leading acts on the recent top 5 compilation "Ourspace" released in March. The release brought them to the Phantom studios to take an interview with Edel Coffey on her morning show.
Their first demo "Take Me Home" received airplay on a number of Dublin radio stations including Phantom Fm and Anna Livia.
Having completed mixing on some of their latest batch of songs they are building up a collection of songs to release in the winter following their Irish tour.
Having met backstage at a gig in waterford, the Looks exchanged Cds with Babyshambles frontman pete doherty...his was ok. (we love you pete)

Bio
The Looks are a gritty indie rock band from Dublin. They lived in London for only a month but left a significant impact on it and it's surrounding areas! After meeting a bunch of punks on Dean St they jumped onstage with them to perform a raucous gig to a sweatbox in Soho. That gig led to an offer to headline the Indie night in Watfords premier music club where they played to crowd of over 250 "Watfordians".
From there further higlights include meeting the Chrystal Maze star Richard O'Brian and legendary gameshow host Bruce Forsythe. Both of whom we gather are now huge fans of The Looks.
Since returning to Dublin they have built up a sizeable fanbase and are touring Ireland in August and September.
