From the casino rooftops of Vegas to the New Year’s crowds of the Australian Festivals The Loose Cannons have come a long, long way from their humble beginnings in a bedsit in South London, to being amongst the UK’s most critically, media and industry acclaimed Artists, DJ/Producers and Radio Broadcasters.
The Don-Daddas of DJ Duo-dom, Kaiser Saucy & Lord Fader have rocked the party across the world, from the E4 Skins house-party in London, to the Australian Music Awards in Sydney, aboard Armani’s yacht in Monte Carlo, to student parties in NYC, narrowly avoiding arrest in Dubai, via an uber-art exhibition in Singapore, Manumission in Ibiza, and Exit in Serbia…. And even Keith-Prodigy’s wedding…. As well as hitting all the main UK festivals, including Glastonbury, V, The Rare One and Glade. Radio1’s Rob Da Bank described the LCs as “undoubtedly the finest party djs this side of Mars and our Bestival after-party DJs of choice.”
2010 sees forthcoming remixes for Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Timbaland, Katy Perry and the Sugababes, as well as a rework of the Rosie Gaines anthem, Closer Than Close. They are also working on a new studio album and live show while setting-up their own label (preview tracks and new DJ mix @http://soundcloud.com/govtrecords) Forthcoming mixes for Boston heavy-hitters Hot Pink Delorean, and Potty Mouth records keep the heat on the dancefloors….
In the UK, their show on world-famous dance music radio station Kiss 100 (www.totalkiss.com/loosecannons) won a Specialist Award at the prestigious Sony Radio Awards in it’s 1st year on air and has subsequently tripled it’s audience share. They are now tastemakers and the public look to them for the newest in all things-house music. Their keen ear for the Underground has led them to be the first to discover & champion many new artists, including Herve, Kissy Sell Out, Sinden, Space Cowboy, Boy-8 Bit, Does it Offend You Yeah, Foamo… and many more.
