The Lops are a combination of adrenalized rock infused with sparkling melodies. Upon meeting, Paul Morgan (lead guitar), Germ “Butter” Garcia (rhythm guitar, backup vox) and Mike Nieto (drums) forged an instant musical connection. What started as a musical experiment quickly blossomed into a full-fledged project with the formation of De-frock. After several starts and stops, De-frock became De-funct! Rising like a phoenix out of the ashes of De-frock, The Lops were born with the addition of Oscar Gomez (bass) and Dave Rangel (Vocals). Never content with keeping the status quo, The Lops mesmerize their fans with energetic live shows and an “anything can happen” mind-set that allows them to craft songs as unique as their personalities. The Lops are currently working on producing their first full-length album and searching for the right record label with the vision to unleash on the masses the musical behemoth known only as The Lops!
