LORI CLARK - LEAD VOCALS / GUITAR

With musical influences such as Bonnie Raitt, Wynonna, Eric Clapton & Susan Tedeschi to name a few, Lori Clark is an artist who writes and sings to move you from one place to another - emotionally, physically and spiritually. Lori is an active member of NSAI- The Nashville Songwriters Association International, ASCAP -American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, and AFTRA - The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Lori's main focus with writing is country, Christian, and adult contemporary music, while she enjoys singing the music of others in country and blues. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, her love for music began at a young age while listening to her father's Kingston Trio and Everly Brother's records. Spending each weekend night glued to the television, Lori watched country greats perform on the stage of the Grand Ole Opr'y and the Barbra Mandrel show. In 1997, she moved to Chicago, home of the blues, to concentrate on songwriting and acting. There she studied at the internationally acclaimed Second City Theatre, Piven Theatre and Old Town School of Folk Music. She also performed with her band while writing original music. There's been no shortage of inspiration for Lori's album - Dare to Dream, which includes originals, Stop Making Me Fall in Love, Make it Easy on Me, & How Forever Comes Undone. Lori & the guys are currently writing and recording in Chicago and Nashville and hopes to complete this project in early 2011.
BRIAN JAMES - KEYS / MUSIC DIRECTOR

Brian started his musical journey as a Trumpeter at the age of 12, paying his dues in the Pep band, Jazz band, pit orchestras and even marching band, Brian worked his way into a first-call horn section player in his late teens and early 20’s, eventually sharing the stage with The Del-Vikings, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and Del Shannon. After moving to the San Fancisco Bay Area in 1989, the changing music climate of the day revealed opportunities for Brian’s interest in keyboards and studio technology. Working as a studio tech, Brian worked alongside Keith Emerson, Night Ranger, Alice Cooper, Charles Brown and Digital Underground. Honing his keyboard skills on the Bay area music circuit and for 3 years on the Island of Cyprus as a rock and r&b keyboardist, Brian then enrolled at Illinois State University and joined the Jazz Studies Program all the while playing in local Country, Rock, Blues and Soul bands as well as solo jazz piano dates. After moving to Chicago in 1996, Brian quickly began performing with a range of well-known Chicago groups including Gypsi Fari (Reggae), Trippin’ Billies (Jam-Band), The Kinsey Report (Blues), Joanna Connor (Blues), Chico Banks (Blues-Funk) as well as touring the U.S., Europe and the Far-East with legendary groups such as The Chi-Lites, Drifters, Classics IV, Otis Rush, Chris Cain, Lonnie Brooks and Sugar Blue.
TOM YURIK - LEAD GUITAR / BACK-UP VOCALS

Tom was raised in a home filled with the blues, Country, and rock and roll sounds that are indigenous to his birthplace- Chicago. When Tom was 14 years old, his father bought him his first electric guitar. After that he was hooked. Tom started his first band with his brother on drums playing in the school homecoming and talent shows. When Tom was 18 he joined a local country band, Bert Cattoni, an original singer/songwriter based out of Woodridge IL. “I was getting my first taste of playing professionally. Years I soon would be on stage at the Realto Square Theater opening for great acts like Lyle Lovett, Martina McBride, George Jones, John Berry and the Gatlin Bros. to name a few”. Tom later found his calling in the soul, blues-rock, funk vein and enlisted some of the best musicians in the Chicago land area for his rhythm section when he formed the Thomas Yurik Band in 1999. In the summer 2008 he hooked up with Lori and her band and enjoyed adding his own flavor of playing to his style of energetic Country Rock.
