This is not your ordinary funk band and Jill Avilez is not youre ordinary front woman. Jill combines theater, philosophy, poetry, science, astronomy, spoken word and meteorology stirred into a genre that is rooted in, but not quite funk, jazz, blues or rock but a planetary system completely of its own but determined to make you shake it.
