Bio
The Love, are a Primitive, Raw, Honest, Beautiful, Dirty, Psychedelic, Folk/Blues/Country/Punk, Garage Rock 'n' Roll, guitar and vocal duo, playing acoustic and also electric with friends helping out.
Calling their sound Primitive Rock, with influences dating back to the 20's through to the 60's but also calling on twists from modern times (major influences include, Leadbelly, John Lee Hooker, Bo Diddley, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, The Velvet Underground, Nirvana, BJM, BRMC, The White Stripes, The Kills, Angus and Julia Stone and many of the Beat Poets). Started out beginning of 2013 playing around Brisbane and Gold Coast and have now played in Northern QLD, NSW and The U.S.A. October brought the release of The Love's first single "Mother (don't ring the blues) which is available as a 7" or download.
