Milly Luxford of Spirit FM's 'Unsigned':
"Incredible. We'd wish them luck, but they don't need it!"
Pete Lambrou of NiceWeatherForAirstrikes Records and ChiLIVE:
"
"Probably the most promising band to come out of Chichester in years, with superb instrumentation, intriguing lyrics and delightful melodies. Effective, charming and very current."
Chichester AUDIENCE magazine press review:
"The Lowland Runners make music that is catchy but clever, eloquent and elegant. Themes that draw you in, lines that stand out and subtle but cutting melodies give this band their Indie twist and unique approach to folk."
Bognor Beat, of Bognor Rox Festival of the Arts:
"Stunning Folk Rock" - Milly Luxford from Spirit FM, Pete Lambrou of NiceWeatherForAirstrikes, Chichester AUDIENCE magazine

Bio
Off the back of a performance at Vintage Goodwood 2010, The Lowland Runners formed from the core of two seperate bands both playing at the festival and both residing in Chichester.
After a few gigs in the local area as a five-piece, the band found former violinist Ana Felices, and along with her violin arrived The Lowland Runner's distinctive sound. More gigs came, and with them noteworthy praise from promoters and regional press.
A performance on Spirit FM's 'Unsigned' radio broadcast brought further acclaim and, with it, two performances at the Komedia venue in Brighton. Joined by current violinist Lotte Lepoutre after Ana had returned to her native Spain, the band began to record their debut EP 'Everything is Water' - which is on sale now - and have begun gigging further afield.
With a range of influences from Nick Drake and Belle and Sebastien to Fanfarlo and Neutral Milk Hotel, the band as a whole hope to create music that is both intimate and jovial, without appearing shallow or uninspired.
