"The Flabby Hoffman Review"

The Low Republic - "An intriguing band that captures a combination of stylistic verve and a passionate power with a vibrant groove leaving the audience ready to dance even while they're having their skin melted off. In fact, if you're not digging their set, then it's likely that some of the wires in your brain are frayed and perhaps you mind is under a shroud of dark somnambulist. No worries though, their music will be your shaman to lead you into the bliss."

"The Complexx Review"

The Low Republic Review from "The Complex"

"The Low Republic stirs up a unique blend of styles as contrasting personalities come together in a thick, alluring musical plot. Adam McKinstry's silky baritone vocals are punctuated by his ska guitar rhythms--which eventually climax into classic rock excursions supported by a driving rhythm section. Chad Doogan slices his distorted bass with a plectrum, giving the music raw, kinetic momentum, and their drummer pounds down heavy funk rock statements--until he is drawn back into the ska realm by Adam's syncopated guitar. And as if that isn't enough, Cola's pouting vocals react and respond to Adam's seductions in her cheeky Euro way--blowing bratty bubbles as she splatters the wall of sound with exotic synth fills. Each band member stubbornly imposes their character into the action, but somehow the pieces fit, like diverse cultures co-existing on a city street. Their songwriting is tasty and confident, and I look forward to seeing how their ingredients coalesce as time progresses."
