Bio

The band has been together for three years now, and has performed at dozens of venues across central Indiana. The band was formed at Guitarworks (Greenwood, Indiana) Band Builders program. This program takes musicians on a six week course learning how to successfully form a band. They meet weekly for six weeks rehearsing together then play on the stage with full lights and PA for a concert. When Zane, lead guitarist and vocalist, spotted a flyer for a battle of the bands at a local county fair he gathered his bandmates and decided to keep a good thing going. The boys continued to rehearse and placed fourth in the battle. At 12 years of age they were on their way. They began playing out at county fairs, town festivals, schools, and charity events.

The core of the band has remained the same with Zane Franklin on lead guitar and vocals, Mitch Cruse on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Jacob Matthews on bass guitar and vocals. The band added Austin Pittman on the keyboard and recently added Mason Sego on the drums.

We’ve had great coaching with Zane’s dad Kevin which has been our biggest influence but we also listen to all kinds of Rock. Jake likes older rock like Motley Crue and Van Halen. While Austin and Mitch like bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Seether. Zane and Mason like harder stuff like Avenged Sevenfold and A Day to Remember. All these bands have influenced our writing and our set lists. We’ve done covers ranging from Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi and Journey to today’s artists Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, and the Foo Fighters.

We love to be in front of people. There is nothing like being on a stage and watching the crowd go wild to your songs. The feeling of not just having to listen to music, but being able to write and create music is unbelievable. We love being able to play a show and watch the people STOP, TURN AND SMILE – then of course go crazy!!

We just finished recording our first EP and are really excited with it turned out! Our originals have been really in demand. We recently placed in the top four of Daddy Reals “The Real Thing Competition” and had the opportunity to play at the historic Madame Walker Theatre in downtown Indianapolis. Out of 90 bands/groups that auditioned it was quite an honor to make it to the finals. We have quite a full schedule for summer 2012 and then it will be back in the studio to finish out our album.
