Bio
All graduates of the Miskatonic Institute of Anthropomorphic Psychotomy, these MD's (Medical Deviates) came together in 2012 by a chance listing in a local newspaper for like-minded (really out-of-their-minded) individuals bent on world contamination. Inspired by work of such greats as Dr. Moreau, Dr. Kevorkian, and Dr. Dre, The Mad Doctors aim to create a race of super astro ape-humans for their musical experiments.
Vocalist/guitarist Dr. Seth Applebaum, bassist Dr. Josh Park, and drummer Dr. Gregory X make up The Mad Doctors; a fusion of retro aesthetics, furious energy, and songs about barbecue. Self-described as psychofuzz, the band is a hairy snot rocket of garage punk, surf rock, and psychedelia smashed into a disgusting blender in some backwoods shanty.
