The Magnetic Band

The music of this sextet formed in 2001 in the north of the island of Mallorca is based on both philosophy and architecture of sound. Their tools are many and adapted to the environment: there are many keyboards (pianos, organs, synthesizers, oscillators), but also vibraphones, trumpets, whispering voices and acoustic and electric guitars, banjos or ukuleles, and percussions. Everything used to enhance his evocative power. But actually, their music speaks about feelings. It's pop music after all. There are many reasons to travel without leaving home, there are thousands of reasons to dream. But the main reason since the world began is love, or the lack of it. Love has given us very good moments in art history, and this may be one of them if you listen carefully.
