""...more talent per square inch that 99.3% of the music issued anywhere on earth.'"

OMG!, Wow, this debut single of The Mann Sisters from Forward Motion Records, from that OTHER land on the other side of the atlantic, is one very incredible recording and has true amazing talent, from the opening swell of guitar chords, to a very impressive recording that sucked my brain into a wonderful soundscape of harmonies, and sweetly recorded vocals.
The Mann Sisters are twins Lauren and Alexandra Mann, double the pleasure, double the fun, four times the talent (its an exponential thing). The potential here for a film is mindblowing. Lauren Mann does the lead vocals, and various keyboards including a B3, church organ and piano. Alexandra Mann does an INCREDIBLE job with all the guitar tracks, very jangly and sparkly, energetic, being a guitarist myself, she is SPLENDID. Lisa Espinosa plays cello for the single, and we find the power duo of Derek Cintron on drums [from the rock band DC3] and Fernando Perdomo [from Dreaming in Stereo] who are rumoured to back Grammy winners on occasion. THIS IS A LOADED TRACK, it has more talent per square inch that 99.3% of the music issued anywhere on earth. It was mixed and mastered by Zac Ziskin, who has fifteen years recording and mixing under his belt according to AllMusic.
The song “Breathe Slow” is an uptempo love song, something rarely done well by anyone, it has great emotion, a positive spirit to it, the choruses of “never let me go…” are compelling. This is a exceptional songwriting for sure! I’ve heard it 22 times in sequence, so far this morning, its great music and I look forward VERY MUCH to the new cd coming out soon on Forward Motion Records, these yanks are doing amazing things over there. They might be getting even for the “british invasion” of the 60s when we sent moptops to conquer their land. KEEP YOUR EYES on these two, I expect greatness is forthcoming. - New Reviews UK

Bio

The Mann Sisters, Alexandra and Lauren Mann, were born and raised in South Florida. These 20-year-old twins have been playing instruments since they were seven, spending the last four years as a duo. Lauren’s keyboards and rich vocals inhabit a haunting higher register; while Alexandra’s gritty guitar playing and vocal harmonies bring out an acoustic rock edge that blend perfectly to make their unique sound. Their music is deeply rooted in classic American rock with a splash of country, with musical influences ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Patsy Cline. Lauren and Alexandra not only pride themselves on their songwritering but also on their instrumental abilities and their live performance. Their strong family harmonies and personal, emotional lyrics is what lends the duo their unique sound and has landed them collaborations with prominent Nashville songwriters. Their well-crafted original songs are what have fans coming back for more.

In 2012, Music Row’s Robert Oermann reviewed their popular song “Halloween Night,” naming the duo “ones to watch,” and awarding them the ‘Discovery Award’ as up-and-coming singer-songwriters. The Mann Sisters now share their time between Miami and Nashville, playing more than 50 gigs throughout the Southeastern U.S. in the last year.  Gigs have included Miami’s Carnaval on the Mile, Nashville’s Hard Rock Café, Performing for the Nashville Business Hall of Fame’s new 2012 inductee ceremony, the legendary Blue Bird Café, and for the world’s biggest songwriter’s festival ‘”Tin Pan South.” Also, an opening act spot at the 2013 Buds N Suds music festival benefiting the CCFA. They have also recently been endorsed by the premier acoustic pickup company K&K; Sound.
