We’re a spazzy folk-core/adventure/punk/weirdo band from Los Angeles. We don’t really fit into any genre, as we’re working on something very unique right now. We are comprised of mandolin, banjo, accordion, upright bass, and drums. We all "sing."
We began in 2011 as an acoustic band but now we use amps and pedals and have drums and tour with metal and punk bands. We also play some very pretty music, too, but it's all weird. We're finishing our first full length with Toshi Kasai right now (Melvins, Tool, Foo Fighters, etc.)
someone also said this one time: "Titillating tales of madness and murder wail violently through The Manxs gritty meat whistles. The band blazes through progressions and melodies with a fury previously unbeknownst to the forests of folk music." I can't remember if this is a self quote or not...
