The Mariner's Children

The Mariner's Children are a 7 piece alt folk band from Brighton, Norfolk and London who make intricately textured and melodic folk music, combining pastoral harmonies with dense guitar and string interplay. Their music ranges from the barnstorming and intense, to the fragile and delicate. They played at the 2009 Emerging Proms, toured with Peggy Sue in November, supported Jack Rose shortly before he died and played at this years Owl Parliament Festival at the Union Chapel with Mount Eerie and Emmy the Great. They are releasing both their debut EP and a spilt 7" with Tristram for Willkommen Records later this year.
