Bio
The Marq was formed by New Jersey singing duo John Munro & Erich Wald in 2005. Both Berklee College Of Music grads, they teamed up with producer Marc Ribler and began writing tunes showcasing their vocal and writing abilities. Soon thereafter, the seven piece band known as “The Marq,” was formed, featuring Berklee musicians from all over the world. The music can only be described as pop laden tunes fused with rock, r&b, and jazz sensibilities. The band’s debut gig at a televised Darfur benefit in Jersey had an amazing turnout---over 1000 screaming fans of all ages!
The band is now finishing up their debut record and currently booking a summer tour.
