MLP started out as an outlet and side project for Matt Lloyd to give a title to demo’s he would record in his spare time between playing with other bands. It was very evident though after a short time and a few shows that this infectious style of upbeat guitar driven pop/rock would have to be more then a spare time deal. As well, he wanted MLP to have a message of hope for this generation that he could front through a new band and hope to make a difference.
Soon Matt recruited fellow musicians, Clark Hubbard (drums) and Nic Byron (bass) to turn this effort into a complete band going full force. Now only less than a year into existence as the band, MLP, are making waves and getting people talking from their energetic live shows, their melodic hooks, and their screaming guitars.
Played at the 2009 Warped Tour @ Verizon Wireless Center in Noblesville, IN.

Youth pastor of Union Chapel Church in Muncie, Indiana. Weekly youth events run around 400 students. MLP has played at various events and conferences, multiple times doing full original songs as well as worship sets. MLP has a full range of worship sets for any event that included the need for a worship band.

Musician and worship leader in St Louis, Missouri; played with Matt in the Bridge Community Church worship band in 2007, where Matt leads as worship pastor every week he is in town. Nate has booked MLP at various worship and concert sets.
