A delicious array of wah, flange and lap steel guitar...
Reviewer: Micheal Henningsen - Alibi Weekly
A delicious array of wah, flange and lap steel guitar, crafty noise and primal percussion with lilting poems that haunt and gently coax your attention.
- Weekly Alibi

"I like it - it's far from ordinary and mysteriously appealing."

Reviewer: Sport - Under the Volcano
"Strange" takes a Season of the Wtich-type droning riff and adds Nick Caves' echo-laden whore/blood/moan poetics. The Spanish lyrics of "Gala" are set to a surfadelic twist on "All Along the Watchtower." I like it - it's far from ordinary and mysteriously appealing. - Under the Volcano

"Fans of obscuro indie-pop will find much to enjoy in these sinister pop gems."

Reviewer: College Music Journal
While someone like Daniel Lanois might write songs about spooky old houses with bodies in the attic and really mean it, for Occult Morphinas songwriter Zelda Salazar, it's more of a winsome pleasure, to be savored and enjoyed for its delight. Imagine if Mark Bolan had a Charles Adsams streak in him, or Perry Farrell had been a big fan of Arthur Lee's Love and you're on the right track... Fans of obscuro indie-pop will find much to enjoy in these sinister pop gems. - College Music Journal FYI
