Looks Like A Lawn Gnome

Written By: The McGowan Family Band

My name is Paul
I look like a lawn gnome
My brother’s name is Mark
He looks like a lawn gnome too
My other brother’s name is Sean
He absolutely really looks like a lawn gnome
We stand in your garden watching the flowers grow

Imagine that
Jimbo’s mom made my hat
Now I absolutely really look like a lawn gnome
just like my brother Sean
we stand in your lawn all day long watching the flowers grow

My name is Paul
I look like a lawn gnome
My brother’s name is Mark
He looks like a lawn gnome too
My other brother’s name is Sean
He absolutely really looks like a lawn gnome
We stand in your garden watching the flowers grow

Imagine that
Jimbo’s mom made my hat
Now I absolutely really look like a lawn gnome
looks like a lawn gnome
I look like a lawn gnome
looks like a lawn gnome
I look like a lawn gnome
looks like a lawn gnome
I look like a lawn gnome

Microphone Dinner

Written By: The McGowan Family Band

I woke up late this morning
Always in a rush
Stuck in morning traffic
Forgot to pack a lunch
Under pressure
Boss is reaming me out
I’ve still got four more hours
till I can make it out

When they put me out to pasture
High on the plains
I’ll hear the same four chords
Open up the door
Like cool wind in my face

Born with the heart for music
All I want to do is play
Soul rise up in the morning
Look forward to the end of day

Microphone dinner
Hot, cold and waiting
I missed the bus
I got off work late
Stage is set like a table
Harmonies on our plate

When they put me out to pasture
High on the plains
I’ll hear the same four chords
Open up the door
Like cool wind in my face
Same old things
Like carrots and the cheese
Never get tired
of all familiar things
Like a song that you heard before
Knockin at your door
Shows you the way

Mary Jane

Written By: The McGowan Family Band

There was this girl, her name was Mary Jane
We met in school, her name was Mary Jane
She had red hair, her name was Mary Jane
She wore a white dress, her name was Mary Jane
She had white crystal diamonds, Mary Jane
But when she got to close to the fire she burned up in a flame
And since that day now we’ve never been the same

Fire it up

There was this girl, her name was Mary Jane
We met in school, her name was Mary Jane
She had red hair, her name was Mary Jane
She wore a white dress, her name was Mary Jane
She had crystal diamonds, Mary Jane
But when she got to close to the fire she burned up in a flame
And since that day now we’ve never been the same

Mary Jane, Mary Jane, I love you Mary Jane
Mary Jane, Mary Jane, I love you Mary Jane
Mary Jane, Mary Jane, I love you Mary Jane
Mary Jane, Mary Jane, I love you Mary Jane
Mary, Mary, Mary, Mary, I love you Mary Jane
