Them Changes formed when guitarist Tommy Cantwell wanted to make a group that incorporated everything he loved about funk/blues music with current popular music. Soon he and his bass guitarist brother Brandon Cantwell recruited Matt Vanhiel as a drummer/vocalist, Mark Hartsuch Tenor Saxophonist, and James Bartusek keyboardist/Alto Saxophonist. At first Them Changes was covering the likes of James Brown, Tower of Power, and Stevie Wonder. Later as group members started writing original tunes, there was an eclictic shift in the sound that is clearly audible in THEM CHANGES: The EP
This combination of players has hit a chord in young audiences and older audiences. With growing fans daily, Them Changes is a band with strong potential and determination.
