"Found A Cure"

Just before these guys came on, about 10 of my Thornton pals turned up and I spent about 20 minuites hyping the medicine up to them! I first saw them at The Market Tavern , and was absolutley blown away. As Hally was saying on the night, they just have a certain charm and class that hits the spot every time. So many different styles mixed in to what they do, yet it all goes down as smoothly as my JD and Coke! I had a good singalong, as I picked up a copy of their demo from the Market T, and have been nailing it ever sing. They seem to be able to turn their hands to anything, dub, reggae, rock n roll, indie, folk and ska are all thrown into their eclectic mix. I had a little dance, and grinned all the way through. ****in class lads, 10/10! And possible record label interest as well! They deserve to make it big. Don't miss em, they'll have you up and dancing too! Best s.. Find a cure. Go see. - Blackpool Bands

"Easy Skanking"

A lot has happened to these lads since the last Jam night, I'm sure you've read about it on BB. They opened with a song I've never heard before (a new one?). Adam looked wired and full of attitude. The best thing about this band, and one of the main reasons they're doing so well, is that they make people dance. So 3 songs in I'm starting to have a bit of a boogie, 5 songs in me and Jo are giving it full-on arms and legs everywhere, hally's over shuffling about and about another 10 people have joined us. And then there's the songs (Pick up the pieces, passing me by, too many to mention). All ****en boss. The Medicine are also a fantasic band to watch, all flailing limbs, 'ave it expressions and toppled amps. A fantastic end to a very emotional evening. - Blackpool Bands
