Sound of the Suburbs is an instantly recognisable post punk anthem that never fails to set an audience on fire. Selling 500,000 copies in the UK in 1979. This song has gone on to selling millions of copies over the years, featured on countless punk compilations it is simply a huge record.
Working Girl was a Massive MTV Hit in the USA. It is the song most associated it the band in this territory where the band are regarded as 80's rather then Post Punk. Check it out on YouTube and you will see the appeal.
Reggae, The Members were pioneers of White reggae and were a huge influence on bands like the Clash and the Police. The Members Reggae is a slower more authentic Dub sound as opposed to the Faster Ska which followed. The Live set features an updated version of the 1979 Hit Offshore banking as well as a Hugely popular version of Kraftwerks "The Model"
