For over a year now we have been concentrating on making our debut album. We have recorded and produced everything ourselves in our self-built studio/rehearsal space in the loft of a farm buliding in Co. Kildare. A sporadically updated blog of our efforts is online at http://meshq.com/roadnoise. We are currently in the final stages of mixing the album and plan to have it released in late August / September.
In 2004 we recorded a 4-track 'demo' ep which was available for a short time in Road Records and from a number of regional record stores.
These songs are no longer part of our live set but they are still available to download from http://www.meshq.com/music/demo .

Bio
The Mes are a 4-piece rock band from Dublin and Co. Kildare. Formed in 2003, from their studio in the converted loft of a Co. Kildare farm building they
concoct their own individual brand of edgy, angular guitar-based music that has drawn comparisons to Radiohead, Wilco, Sonic Youth, and Captain Beefheart.
