Something about them Swedes. Maybe it's because we share a common ancestry, but the Mess with Julia make me feel like they really know what they're doing. This is one of those increasingly rare rock bands where everyone knows their place in the group; the result is a well-balanced cascade of solid rock topped off some serious frontwoman 'tude. You could just as easily listen to them in the car with the windows down as you could at a packed club, shakin' what your mama gave you. To quote a fan from their homeland, "jaaa!!! eller yeah!!!"

"The Mess with Julia" is a four-piece punk/pop band from Stockholm, Sweden. Their vision is to blend different influences in order to create dancy, groovy and sweaty rock 'n' roll music. So far in their shows they have proved to be one of Sweden's hottest acts. Lead singer Julia Eriksson has an effortless charisma, attitude and confident stage presence.
