Bio

former members of seminal San Diego bands (Billyclub, Everready, Cranial Vacancy) active members of the SD scene since 1990........

instead of me blabbing on and on about how we are the greatest thing to ever come from SD, check out a few reviews......

Listen.com says:

California trio contributes standard guitar/bass/drums Punk-Pop, stretching from quieter, decidedly Pop tunes to upbeat Punk, periodically throwing a little Funk around

The Mice-Generation Zero CD
I don't understand why every band says they're a punk band. I think there's NOTHING wrong with not being punk. But this "punk" band from CD plays dirty sounding pop songs, that might sound like ramones if were on a 33 speed record played at 45 rpm. I hear a bit of Dinosaur Jr. in there someplace. This CD is from 98, and for all I know they most likely have something newer out by now, but this is what I got. The 14 songs are not in the order that they are on the listing, so I'm sure exactly which songs are which. They do cover a Cars song though (Let's Go), which is always fun. The late 70s, early 80s rockish thing works for them. There's a few songs that're sort of Jam-rocky, "funky" kind sounding and that's not really my thing, and I think they could have done better with out it, esp. when the sax solo comes in... There are some songs, that are for sure punk songs on here too. If I heard more from them, I hope it has more of a consistent sound too it, and if it was up to me, it would be more post-punk, pop songs.
