Biography

Drawing from their musical influences that encompass many genres of music, the Michael Padgett Band puts out a distinctive sound all their own. Roby Scott, on lead guitar, contributes very innovative and original lead riffs, making him a respected musician among various singer-songwriters, and is quickly becoming a crowd favorite. Recent additions Kyle Moss(bass) and Phil Bradley(drums)bring impressive resumes and solidify the group. Fronting the band, Michael brings exceptional songwriting skills, strong vocals, rythm guitar, and great charisma to the stage.
MPB has built a strong fan base in Texas and with the release of their first album they are quickly making an impact on the Texas Music scene. MPB's first single"One Soul Angel" drew very positive responses from fans and fellow artists alike. After receiving significant airplay throughout Texas and into Oklahoma the band realized moderate success on the charts reaching as high as #39 on the Texas Music Chart. After getting their feet wet, they recently released their second single "Texas Outlaws" with higher expectations. It debuted as one of the five fastest moving songs on the Texas Music Chart. MPB is establishing themselves as a mainstay on the radio and entertaining audiences in well respected live venues such as The Horseman Club, Woody's Tavern, Bostock's, Love and War, The White Elephant, and Poodie's Hilltop among others.
