The Middlemen play original and classic rockin' power pop. Cover material is from the classic power pop giants - The Beatles, the Who, the Smithereens, Badfinger and many more. Original material is strong and stylistically similar.
The Middlemen are veteran multi-genre professional performers in the Austin, TX area.
John Groves is in demand as a jazz and big band piano player, an R&B keyboard player, a recording engineer, and as a guitarist in multiple genres.
Bruce Logan spent several years as a member of Atlantic Records recording artist The Uninvited, and frequently does international tours - most recently with Guitar Shorty. Bruce is comfortable playing styles ranging from jazz and big band music to R&B and rock.
David Delguzzi has been a mainstay bassist and singer in the Austin, TX area since the mid 1980s.
