Live Out Loud is a free event for Ajax and Pickering teens 13 - 19 years old. Many came out to see four local bands (Orlando, This is Not A Drill, Camp EX, & The Midnight Ramblers) compete for prizes and vote for their favourite. Event also included interactive games and drug awareness activities. It was a great event to go and vote for your favourite band, and enjoy free pizza, games, and prize giveaways including an IPOD. This event is hosted by the Town of Ajax, City of Pickering, the Youth Centre, Durham Region Health Dept and Pinewood Centre. - SNAP Ajax

The Midnight Ramblers are a four piece band playing a very impressive variety of songs, transcending their appeal towards all ages, and those that love all genres of popular music. Their presence is immediately recognized as both energetic and entertaining.
The band started out with two musicians who created a bond through their music passion. Shady Gende and Dustin Vetere had know each other for a number of years through a friend before they started jamming together. After agreeing to start a band they went in search for a rhythm section that could fill in the gap their music. Michael Crowley and Connor Fairfield would fill in those shoes and after a month of rehearsing they played their first show at The Karma Lounge in Oshawa. After blowing the audience away and taking 2nd place the boys knew they were sitting on something special and unique.
After months of gigging and recording the boys have experienced many great musical peaks and have begun to create a sound of their own. Standing out from the crowd by playing many different genres of music that most bands can't duplicate. The future seems bright for these four young musicians on their way to being the next big thing as they stay true to who they are and staying unique in a world full of imitators.
