The Mighty Men of Steel
Biography

Rocking from the Central Coast of Australia, an hour north of Sydney, The Mighty Men of Steel are an experienced three-piece pop rock band. The Steel layer their music with clever, original riffs, tight percussion and seemingly effortless vocals. This is a band developing a strong fan base on the live music scene with regulars coming back for more due to the distinct hooks and also the fooling around that occurs on stage.

The boys are about to release their second independently produced EP and will be touring along with regular gigging around Australia in 2007 to bring their music to the masses.

Guitarist T Man (Trent Crawford) formally of Australian pop punk sensation “One Dollar Short” found himself with a backlog of songs and no band to play them with in 2003. Enter drummer A Man (Adrian Gallace). T Man and A Man met at a mutual friend’s Christmas party and kicked it off straight away. On New Years Eve the two first jammed together (in front of an audience no less) and found they had an indefinable chemistry that even the audience were amazed by.

The two went on to write songs together but realised they needed a bass player to fill out the sound: enter C Man (Cameron Singh). C Man, a music teacher majoring in classical guitar and cheeky regular visitor to T Man’s guitar shop on the Central Coast, was at the time not playing as his former rock band “Go To Bed Jessica” was in hiatus. C Man was keen to join the rock cause.

By 2005 the boys were constantly gigging and writing music together. During 2006 The Steel played with 28 days, Irrelevant, Something with Numbers, Angela’s Dish, Town Hall Steps to name a few and toured with After The Fall.

The Mighty Men of Steel’s second independently produced EP will be available in early 2007.
