Last year, up-and-coming rapper Randolph "ILLman" Yelverton was murdered. Today, a dozen of his friends and peers from across the hip-hop/rock/R&B spectrum — including Shelliano, Babydoll, Doeboy and host Ray Wellz — are coming together in a benefit for his daughter's college fund.

The Mighty Onez (NoelZ & G.E.N) met thru a mutual friend in summer 07', while Gen was engineering/producing at his pre-production studio. NoelZ was in search of a lab & fresh hot beats, & she felt at home once she became a frequent patron of the studio. Once the two began collaborating they quickly composed a catalog of duet songs. NoelZ & Gen or G.E.N solidified their solo stage names, but the two knew that they would have to collectively create a name for their duo. They came up with "The Mighty OneZ" due to their strength & ability to pursue music. In September 08' TMO (The Mighty Onez) released their debut mixtape titled "Change The World Volume 1". The album title was picked due to their unique sound, people weren't used to hearing such feel-good music (especially from a male/female duo), so Gen & NoelZ decided to change the world with their music. With 16 songs, ten of which were produced by G.E.N. In fact all of volume 1 was recorded by G.E.N.
Ambitious to build up their fanbase TMO began performing their duet songs at every local open mic in Philadelphia including Industry Tuesdays Hosted by Larry Larr, where the duo gained a great following. The Mighty Onez soon gained great exposure via beneficial concerts at Philadelphia's Legendary "Love Park", and popular artist venues such as World Cafe Live. The Mighty Onez were also fortunate enough to make history by performing for two campaign events while President Barack Obama was running for president. Fans love NoelZ for her demanding
"Diva" style, and Gen for his capturing voice & image.
NoelZ finds influence from artist including Jay-Z, Beyonce, Usher, Lauryn Hill Eve & Diana Ross. While Gen has been influenced by Lenny Kravitz, Marshal Mathers (Eminem) & Mary J Blige. NoelZ & Gen both dream of becoming Legendary Entertainers.
NoelZ & Gen both have creative visions & are very
passionate about goal setting. The duo capture great chemistry on & off stage. Currently TMO is promoting Volume 2 of their Change The World series
"Operation London UK" which includes original beats from Dego Brown of SW London's Black Pirhana crew. The duo met Dego Brown on myspace & have been making hits to his
production since then. The Mighty Onez continue to make positive, "feel-good music" for all generations to enjoy. With so much more in store for the future. TMO music & entertainment group plans to branch out to artist development & multimedia projects in the near future. For now The Mighty Onez will continue to change the world with their Mighty Music!
