Bio
Sesame Street Puppeteer Matt Vogel and actor/director/musician Michael Escamilla formed The Mighty Weaklings in 1996 and is a five-member New York City-based eclectic pop/rock band with an offbeat sense of humor and a dynamic stage show. Some would describe them as Van Halen-meets-Barenaked Ladies-meets-Weezer-meets-Kids in the Hall. Band members include Michael Escamilla (rhythm guitar, vocals), Bob DÕHaene (lead guitar), Bj Hemann (drums, vocals), Tim McCracken (piano, organ, keys) and Matt Vogel (bass, lead vocals, trumpet). In 2007, they appeared on JackÕs Big Music Show (seen on Noggin) and continue to perform shows throughout New York City.
