The Milk Pipes

The Milk Pipes

At their core The Milk Pipes are a rock and roll band. Sounding like a ’63 Impala comin’ sideways around a corner on two wheels, The Milk Pipes always drop the hammer on their original tunes with a joyful and reckless abandon. You can call them indie, you can call them punk and you can even call them a little bit country. Whatever you want to call them, they are music to drive to. Tube amps and classic guitars slash against the solid 1, 2, 3, 4 punch of a rhythm section born to serve the song while keys and ukes underpin the whole cacophony with delicious counter melodies.

Whether they are playing 40 minutes or 3 hours it’s obvious they are having a really good time up on the stage and naturally draw the audience towards them to create a collective spirit that truly lives in the moment. They understand that it’s not the singer but the song and want everyone to join in the collective musical experience. It’s not uncommon for the audience to end up on stage or the band to end up in the audience by the end of the show. If you are looking to get back to the basics of music moving through you unfiltered and unfettered. If you are hungry for a reawakening of the spirit or even if you have no idea what you are looking for, look no further. The Milk Pipes are here….you’ll hear them coming so stomp your feet to the beat and get on board or get the hell out of the way.
