Bio

The Minus Scale has ignited New England with explosive live performances and infectious pop hooks. With well-written lyrics, catchy and interesting melodies, driving guitars, and tight rhythm, The Minus Scale have developed an ever-growing fan base.

In the summer of 2003, The Minus Scale worked with Casey Dowdell at Houndstooth Studios on their first release for Portsmouth, NH independent label Cotton Pony Music. The resulting six-song EP “Apathy! Apathy!” mixes pop sensibility with a unique feel to create a sound they can call their own. Downloads from this EP are available at www.purevolume.com.

After playing many shows and touring over the summer of 2003, The Minus Scale returned to work on new material that will appear on a split EP with New Jersey’s Fairmont, courtesy of Cotton Pony Music. This effort is due out in spring of 2004.
