Bio

The Minx Delilah is a playful pop punk band from Houston, Texas. Their music is jam packed with catchy riffs, guilty pleasure one liners, shredding guitar solos and ear candy hooks. The vocalist, Amanda Krivik, has a voice that could knock down a brick house and at the same time sooth the gnarliest of bad-boy bikers. Their music has the best of old school punk mixed in with new age punk, with a healthy dose of rock and pop. They are as fun to listen to as they are to see live. Look out for this band on tour in early 2013. Watch their Reverbnation/Facebook/Twitter for more information. In the beginning JB, lead guitarist, Bryan Zavar, rhythm guitarist, and Amanda Krivik sat down one night and immediately wrote their first song, "Sent Where You Belong," in a matter of minutes. After realizing that there was something awesome about this project, they went out and found the rest of the Minx members. They picked up Josh Clark from a metal band, Beacons Ablaze, (JB was a former member too), as well as Sean Jain, one of the most punk influenced musicians they ever knew. Once the band was formed, within a month they were rocking out with fans at shows across Houston. In October of 2012, Josh Clark left the band to focus on his new metal band, and Sean Jain parted as well to focus on his career and Bryan Zavar left for personal reasons. Minx picked up David Guillory for bass, and Paul Craig for drums and Dan Charles for rhythm guitar to round out the rocking quintet. Currently Minx's first Demo, The Minx Delilah, is available for download on Reverbnation.com/theminxdelilah. As for shows, they are planning and scheduling more shows in and around the greater Houston area and will be soon playing in venues across the country. Stay tuned to The Minx Delilah because you will not want to miss out on the madness that they will create in the music world.
