THE MOMENT

It all began with two best friends, Renee Myara(Vocals/Keys/Guitar) and Emily Marie(Bass/Vocals). The twosome started playing as young teenage girls wanting to take the Rock world by storm prooving that girls could really play! Renee and Emily had been in bands of all styles ranging from bubble gum pop/rock to speed metal. The girls were generally referred to as the modern day version of Heart. Renee and Emily had been writing and playing music together for just under a decade when they met and started collaberating with Jeremy Faccone (Guitar). They envisioned a powerful, dramatic, and emotional form of Rock music. Renee's dynamic background as a vocalist was the base of their sound with influences ranging from Opera to Blues to Heavy Metal. They began writing and solidifying their unique sound. By mid 2004 the line up was completed with Louie Conte (Drums) and they started playing the L.A./Hollywood area at such venues as The Key Club, The Viper Room, The Troubadour, and The Roxy. Because of their previous individual successes in other bands, THE MOMENT already had a buzz going. They had no problem gaining a fanbase and recognition. Immediately they were offered an Independent record deal and started writing for the album. THE MOMENT'S debut album entitled BELLA was released February of 2005.
