Bio
Following an old rock and roll tradition, the monas are constantly searching for the roots of their musical influences. Pipe (vocals/guitar), Juan (drums), Nando (guitar) and Francisco (bass) met in sunny Miami Beach in the year 2000. After numerous encounters with the blues and other sounds of the heartland, where everything is handed down and nothing comes from nothing, the band began to define their artistic vision. The monas' first album was recorded at The Audiolounge Studios (Miami,Fl) and will be available early 2006 at www.themonas.com. The first single, Cae La Noche is already playing regularly on radio stations nationwide, (New York, California, New Jersey, Virgina and Florida).
