We have had songs on several ska podcasts and local radio. International radio play includes the Sunday Ska show on radio dublin and Tom Robinsons introducing show on 6 music.
We are also on Itunes, The Monotones - The great escape

The original line-up formed around four years ago and built the base for the future. Since then new keyboards, guitar and more recently a new vocalist have all started. The result is The Monotones we have today.
The founding members wanted to make ska band, after being heavily influenced by 2-tone music such as The specials and The beat. Other influences included 3rd wave american pop/punk/ska such as reel big fish. We feel we have developed on this foundation to create our on style, stillheavily influenced by 2-tone but also adding a contempory indie edge aswell as jazz and reggae influences.
We feel what makes us different is our abundantly energetic stage performance, and the individuals talent on each respective instrument. Also being such a large band we find people are impressed by how well we communicate on and off stage, when theres so many of us to communicate with!
We love playing gigs so we try to play as many as possible, we recently won a local battle of the bands based on live performance and came 2nd in another even larger one. We have supported the like of the dead 60's, the king blues, the cat empire to name a few (and not including supporting dj sets from the go! team and kasabian.)
Last summer we played a first proper festival slot at workhouse festival in Wales. We headlined the 2nd stage on the first night. Although Workhouse is small at the moment it is constantly expanding and was no.4 in the observers top ten small festivals. Our set was high in the list of highlights from fans and organisers alike.
