Bio

The Morleys are an energetic jazz infused rock band, comprised of five musicians; Jen Galinski (singer, acoustic), Justin "Juice" Thompson (singer, guitar), Nick "Nickel" Olson (guitar), Doug "Doog" Moser (bass) and John "Dogboy" King (drums).

Spawning from St. Louis, Missouri, the band taps into the city's rich jazz history to create a unique sound comprised of 1930's swing jazz and funky, guitar-driven indie rock.

Singer/songwriter Jen Galinski fronts the band with a distinctive and commanding voice that seems too big for her tiny 5'1'' frame. Many have likened her to a modern-day Billie Holiday. Justin Thompson is a hugely talented singer/song writer in his own right and the band is continually backlogged on new material. Together, the two create harmonies that rival bands such as The Beatles. Drummer John King and guitarist Nick Olson also contribute heavily to The Morleys’ song writing and King supplies all of the band’s art work. Bassist Doug Moser is the newest and youngest member of the band. His ever walking bass lines complete The Morleys' sound.

Though still a new band, The Morleys are already drawing impressive crowds that are continually growing. Their huge catalog of material works just as well as an acoustic set and their upbeat and energetic sound is attracting a wide range of people. The Morleys are high energy, silly and fun; true performers at their core.
