Ben Matos is a proficient Bass player adding a depth to songs that brings out melodies that you don't hear in todays pop music. It's a funk groove that makes it hard not to bob your head.
Blair O'Connor is a masterful percussionist and player of the djembe. His style locks in tight with Bens genius bass lines.
Taylor O'Connor, the primary songwriter for The Mosey Beet, has studied guitar (and his emotions) to the point that sharing his experience is necessary to "this dream called life". He is quick to credit his bandmates who make it possible to bring this music to life.
Sometimes being compared to artists such as Sublime, G. Love, and Jason Mraz. Taylor's writing for The Mosey Beet includes styles from groovy guitar riffs, to funky jazz progressions as well as songs that will pull at your heart strings. The Mosey Beet style is an original sound mixing pop melodies with witty, mellow rap lyric, reminiscent of 90's rap flow and early Chili Pepper's grooves. It's music is keeping that funky flow that makes the rhythm go . . . lettin' lyrics destroy yah so bad you're in paranoia, and if you so well choose . . . kick back, relax and remember to hang loose".
