Bio

If Rock and Roll is dead then no one told The Mylars.

The Mylars are the Garden States newest super charged rock and roll outfit with a back story too good to even try and embellish.
With a band mission of "It is what it used to be", The Mylars are a combination punch of an analog recording, the excitement of your song being heard on the radio for the first time and a place when lyrics and melody shaped the time of your life.

Here's their tale...
This story dates back all the way to a little suburban town called Union, NJ (home to Goodfella Ray Liotta) and finds its roots in the music aisle of the local mom and pop record store, Melody Records. With dreams nothing short of being the biggest band in the world these four kids shared this one common goal as well as a camaraderie that kicked off a lifelong journey.

Many bumps, many bruises and many ups and downs eventually pulled these kids apart, only to, years later, finally have a chance at redemption...to bring things full circle and rediscover what was in front of them all along.

After serving several years together in what they jokingly refer to as "rock and roll bootcamp" the friends drifted apart, striking out on their own to each chase a dream. The members of The Mylars have all had many brushes with success in their own right, watching the music industry go through many changes, good and bad.

Now stronger, wiser and well refined, the guys are joined together once again to recapture what we all remember. What Rock n Roll was all about. Great lyrics, memorable melodies and showmanship.

Danny Roselle- Guitarist/ Vocalist, has been touring the globe in numerous national recording projects, sharing the stage with many great performers such as Bon Jovi, The Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, Bret Michaels and many more. Danny is currently one of the main songwriters for the History channels hit television show, American Pickers. His music can also be heard in popular television shows such as Degrassi, MTV Road Rules as well as the trailer theme song for the 2008 hit movie, The Rocker, starring Rainn Wilson.

Quig- Bassist/ Vocalist, has been submerged in the music industry for many years as a performer, songwriter, as well as a music manager. Quig owned and operated Commodity Oddity Entertainment where he was responsible for the creation and subsequent success of the world first little person rock band, The Little Kingz, whom Quig managed and brought to the forefront. Highlights included performances with such great acts as The Black Crowes, 3 Doors Down, and The Strokes. Quig also hosted the radio show "Old Rules New School" in the early 2000's.

Chris O'Hara- Drums
Thanks to that little red "Buddy Rich" kit purchased by his grandfather all those years ago, Chris has become one the most sought after live and recording drummers this side of the Mississippi and we are truly honored to call him a Mylar.
Chris has put his signature drumming stamp on some of the finest tracks by well know artists Carl Gentry, Dramarama, Bob Polding Band, and many more.
On the live front, he has had the honor of bashing the skins behind some of our countries finest, including, but not limited to, Bobby Banderia (Bon Jovi, Southside Johnny), The Wayne Brown Band, and Marc Ribler.
Chris has enjoyed sharing the stage with top recording artists Toby Keith, Dierks Bentley, Sugar Ray and Foreigner.

Dan Rainey- Lead Guitar
Hailing originally from Northern New Jersey, lead guitarist Dan Rainey has been traveling the country for many years now, both as a live performer as well as studio "go to" player. After leaving The Garden State at an early age, he spent many years as a force on the music scene in both Miami, Fl, Nashville, TN, and most recently Charleston, SC.
Dan has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with countless national artists, including, but not limited to, Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers, Fiona Apple, as well as members of Hootie and the Blowfish.
Memorable performances include being the special guest for legendary southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd at West Palm Beach's famed "Sunfest" festival.
