Bio
We are a young folk band from West London, influenced by bands like Beirut and Arcade Fire, trying to incorporate as many different instruments into our sound as possible.
Starting out as a four-piece in September 2009, we played our first gig at the Walthamstow Standard. Since then we have gained Trumpet, Violin, Banjo, Ukulele and Drums and have recently played gigs at the Proud Gallery in Camden and the Good Ship in London (to over 80 fans). We also recently played a gig in Walthamstow with a Latin Percussionist.
We hope to start recording our first EP in the coming weeks in Bush Studios, with Sam having already made many acoustic demos, and have recently played two more successful gigs at The Good Ship and the Kentish Town Bull and Gate, at which we recorded our first live DVD, excerpts of which you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdoXHGuIuH8 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3Tc2ZWiN9s&feature=related .
We are looking for further opportunities to play live and bring our music to as many people as possible.
