Bio
Benjie met Tom in college back in the 90's. Tom had gone onto play guitar for Sheffield's Reverend and the Makers. It wasn't however, until Benjie's previous band - London's Jack Maggs lsot their bassist back to America and with a slew of dates booked in 2008, needed a replacement. It was there that The Naked Lights were born. With influences ranging from Blur to Belle and Sebastian, The Pixies to Primal Scream, their sound flicks that little switch in your head that says 'dance'. The band have since supported Yeti (ex Libertines) The Boxer Rebellion and members of Reverend and the Makers. Having spent January recording their first EP in Sheffield, produced by Reverend's Ed Cosens, 2009 The Naked Lights are looking to spread the revolution.
