Bio
The Name began in 2004 when Seth Engel began recording music on his computer. This went on until December of 2006. Then Bryan Meshkov and two other guys joined the band. However, Bryan was shipped off to the wilderness in later April, so The Name became a trio. After a few lineup changes, The Name recorded a 7 song EP, and in 2008, a five song demo. However, due to intense personal conflict with the other members, Seth had to find new people to play with. After about a week of searching, Brian King and Jeff Berman joined the band. All the sudden, Bryan came back and they became a quartet again and they are now on their way to bigger and better things!
We have been lucky enough to share the stage with: Andrew Lipke, Lucas Carpenter, Morning Story, The New Rivals, Eddie Conwell, and more.
