Bio
The Narod Ensemble is a five piece instrumental, non-vocal band based in Richmond, Virginia. We perform Armenian Folk Music in an Improvised Environment. We tend to take long solos. Some listeners have called us a jam band. I suppose we are a jam band in as much as we like to jam.
Our material is based mainly from the folk music of Armenia and then expanded upon. We are constantly adding new material from other areas of Western Asia as well as some of our own compositions.
