"Review Rinse Repeat Full Length Review"

"From here, the world is in The Narrative’s palm, they can only go on to bigger and better things."

"The Narrative has something that you don't see very often anymore, do-it-yourself hard work and passion. With Suzie's incredible, angelic vocals, and Jesse's strong, yet soft, voice, there is no doubt that this band will go far and become one of your favorites in 2010"

- Review Rinse Repeat

"AbsolutePunk Full Length Review"

"The Narrative have made the best record of its kind in 2010."

"The Narrative, in their first full length, already present more of a variety than bands that have been together ten times as long as they."

"The Narrative are a group which should inspire a movement of sorts."

"There aren't many bands as creative or talented as this one." - AbsolutePunk.net

"Lush Beat Full Length Review"

"Elegantly and brilliantly balancing subtlety and nuance with a conscious sense of melody, The Narrative has crafted a stunning debut."

"Emotionally resonant from the first track (“Fade”), this self-titled debut would be career defining for some bands, which makes it all the more impressive that this band is just getting started."

"this young band knows how to structure not only a song, but an entire album, which is one of the most important aspects of the listening experience."

- Lush Beat

"Alternative Press Full Length Review"

"The craftsmanship the trio took into creating the album is evident. Hopefully this will be the last time the Narrative will have to self-release their music; labels, take notice." - Alternative Press

"Substream Magazine Feature"

"In such a short amount of time, The Narrative has made a name for themselves by doing things differently." - Substream

"Audioscrobble Blurb"

"Think somewhere between Canada’s finest, Stars, and Barsuk-era Death Cab for Cutie and you’re someway into understanding The Narrative’s world of instantaneous balladic charm, coaxed out by unhurried piano melodies and the hushed harmonising of vocalists Suzie Zeldin and Jesse Gabriel." - AudioScrobbler

"Daily Unsigned Quotes"

"while a million pop-punk bands come out every year, having seemingly the same formula time and time again with many making it work, it’s much more rare you find a truly talented new indie act"

"something about this gorgeous sound has had me wrapped up in it for months now."

"Flavorpil Comparison to Death Cab For Cutie"

"NYC indie-poppers The Narrative add an inspired pair of female pipes to the jangly emoisms of Photo Album era Death Cab for Cutie...at times, they really do rival the original" - Flavorpill (NYC)

The Narrative members Suzie Zeldin (Keys/Vocals) and Jesse Gabriel (Guitar/Vocals) grew up around the block from each other and didn't even know it. That is of course until a Craigslist musicians ad brought the two together over some highly mediocre New York pizza. They soon found out that not only did they attend the same high school, but they shared the same passions for music.

The two spent the next couple of years in Suzie's cramped Upper West Side apartment crafting songs that would become the Just Say Yes EP, which was released in 2008 to critical acclaim. In the Summer of 2010, The Narrative followed this by releasing their self-titled first full length album which also received an overwhelmingly positive response.

Their music has been featured on several television shows such as MTV's The Real World and Nickelodeon's Gigantic. They have received front page placements on Myspace and Myspace Canada, as well as Purevolume.com which recently declared them one of the "Top Unsigned Bands of 2010". Absolutepunk.net has called them "the kind of raw, young talent that makes lesser bands envious".

They have been touring nationally in support of their full length and are excited to continue doing so on tour with Eisley and then the Vans Warped Tour!
