"Cleveland Scene Review"

"Melding indie-rock, fusion, and a touch of funk, the band rocks with a sense of purpose missing from most music heavy on the chops. The quartet builds great tunes from crisp drumming, slamming bass lines, and tasty licks. Ultimately, it's the captivating lyrics and wicked self-deprecating wit of frontman Davey P - a true singer songwriter - that make the songs so damn listenable." - Cleveland Scene review - Cleveland Scene

Bio

The brainchild of Davey P, The Ne'erdowells embody the attributes of some of NYC's most talented musical minds: a raucous live show, hints of countless musical styles, and an innate sense of creativity and interplay within some unmistakably original songwriting. This 20-something collective brings an audio elegance and an enduring energy to the stage - clearly one of the freshest sounds and most engaging shows around.

Frontman Davey P boasts a resume that includes a laundry-list of notables: performances at Irving Plaza NYC, Warped Tour, House Of Blues, and Bamboozle Festival (Meadowlands Stadium); sharing stages with The Killers, Kings Of Leon, Flogging Molly, Zolof The Rock And Roll Destroyer, Fastball, and Motion City Soundtrack; Major-label showcases and representation by Green Day's management team; scores for NYC Indie Film Festival submissions. He is lauded for his ability to create a truly musical sound while remaining accessible to the masses.

Jessica Stewart is a prodigious talent, whose credentials include Blondie's 2009 backing band and European tours with Psychic TV; "House Band" status at major NYC jazz and blues clubs; Music Director credits for endless cabaret acts and stage productions, including The Broadway Bistro Awards; several appearances at B.B. Kings, Bowery Ballroom, and Santo's Party House. Her diverse background from classical to kitsch make her impact an indelible one.

Listening to Kim Garey perform is truly engaging - the jazz-trained stickwoman has the ability to make anything she plays sound effortless and effusive with her musicality. In short time, she has become one of NYC's most in-demand drummers, with steady work at some of the city's best venues.

Brazilian-born Amanda Ruzza demonstrates one of the most refined takes on modern bass playing. Her experience on the stage and in the studio makes her the foundation for the band's unique sound.
